I can't even make an argument for the R32 anymore, this car was true love at first sight. My kidneys and any other redundant/unnecessary organs are for sale at this point.

You only need one lung. Those are worth the most I think

Wow, that's a damned pretty GTR. However, you don't even need an argument when you hop in and drive an R32 (from what I hear). Plus, the styling is so unique.

R33 is my favorite generation of the straight-six turbo era of GT-R's.

From J.davism5:
the steering and gearshift in the 34 was very light, the 33 was quite the opposite. The 33 was very direct, but well weighted, and the gear shift was that of a bolt action rifle. The 32's I drove were light on their feet, but attessa and hicas were a little slow to react. Easy car to provoke understeer. The 33, the tech was bang on. Super accurate, and lightning fast, it went where pointed, but would not suffer fools. I could push stupid speeds in that car with total confidence, but it held a knife edge to it that let me know that I had to work for it. Phenomenal brakes. The 34, the tech felt like it had been wound back, and the intervetion point of attessa and hicas was much later. I love drifting, it's great, thats why I imported a 12' Boss 302. But being sideways in a GTR at 160km/h is not what I wanted, expected or paid for. It felt indirect, and not the scalpel that the 33 was. That's my take on it anyway.

I have become quite fond of them recently. My hope is that when the R32 hits 25 and the value of those goes up in the US that the R33 will see a dip in price and I can snag a 95-96 for a pretty good deal.

Good to know; I guess the sentiments are different than people make them out to be. I want that guy's problems.

Not sure, I think the R33 will rise up in price the closer and closer it gets to turning 25. Though it's possible there might not be too much of a jump since it's considered the least favorite of the three generations.
There's a GT-S for sale in the Carolina with a dot government-issued VIN and all the correct paperwork. 18k$ takes it.

Interesting! I always heard people expressing negative opinions about the R33. Quite nice to know that isn't always the case!

That is extremely interesting, I had always been lead to believe that the 33 was a fat heavy pig, while the 32 and 34 were the ones to get. I know it is the heaviest, but its interesting to hear that it handles the best (subjectively). I can't tell which one I like the most.
